02 — The story
Tregua begins with an intimate question: what happens when we stop fighting what we feel? Traditionally associated with concealment, the mask becomes an object of revelation. Its closed eyes do not evade the world; they suspend exterior noise and direct the gaze inward.
Orchids emerge from within the face. Primavera represents the possibility of blooming again after silence, loss or exhaustion—not by returning to who we were, but by allowing a new version of ourselves to be born.
Feathers expand from the mask as an ascending force. Libertad marks the instant when we release expectations, guilt, fears and former versions of ourselves. Freedom is not an escape here; it is a conscious decision to lighten the spirit and choose from a more authentic place.
Butterflies inhabit the face as visible signs of an inner transformation. Metamorfosis celebrates the courage to accept change before knowing its outcome: the uncertain territory where one form ends, another begins and identity discovers new possibilities.
Primavera, Libertad and Metamorfosis form one sequence: bloom, let go, transform. Each mask has its own identity and may be acquired individually; together, they construct Tregua's complete narrative of inner reconciliation.
Only three numbered and certified examples of each mask exist: nine individual works and a maximum of three complete trilogies worldwide. Every piece belongs to the original Tregua edition and is available individually or as a complete trilogy, subject to availability.
